Title: Electrodialysis uses charged membranes to attract dissolved solids in CBM-produced water
Text: "Electrodialysis Reversal: Electrodialysis reversal (EDR) water treatment is similar to ion exchange in that dissolved ions are attracted to electrodes of opposite electrical charge. They differ in that EDR uses separate cation and anion membranes, alternately arranged, to segregate charged ions from a solution. To prevent membrane fouling (build up of slime and other compounds), the polarities are periodically reversed so that the brine channel becomes the water channel and visa versa (ALL 2003; Hodgson 2001)."
