This guideline clarifies Commissions rules for reclamation. In general the objective of the regulations is to return the surface of the land that was used for some exploration, drilling or production activity to its original use. In some instances, because the Commission regulates activity on privately owned surface, the site may be retained for some other use in cooperation with the landowner's wishes. |
Required vs. Recommended: |
Required -- This guideline clarifies the requirements of the Commission rules. |
