Annotation: |
This study looks at the quality of the air over oil and natural gas development in Uintah County, Utah. The results indicate that approximately 6.2-11.7% of the average hourly natural gas production from oil and gas wells in Uintah County was emitted into the atmosphere. This rate was higher than usual, and may be due to an increase in flaring. More research is necessary to confirm these results. |
