On February 5, 2013, City Council directed staff to prepare City Code changes prohibiting the use of hydraulic fracturing, and limiting the open pit storage of waste or flowback created in connection with the fracturing process in the city limits. Those changes are reflected in the proposed Ordinance No. 032, 2013. This document discusses the potential environmental impacts of fracking in the city of Fort Collins, CO. |
