Site Location Recommendations, regarding visual asthetics |
Text: |
Exploration of Coal Bed Methane: Site Location: "Consideration should be given to the proximity to schools, residences and other public areas, visual impacts, erosion potential, wildlife habit, and the improvements and structures of the landowner/surface lessee.... it is important to avoid "sky lining" of facilities even in remote areas to avoid unnecessary disruption of the vistas that travelers and residents have become accustomed to.... Operators should avoid steep slopes, unstable soils, and locations that block or restrict natural drainages." |
